The sounds are kind of low quality, harsh, the enviroments you're supposed to light up start pitch black so you're groping around trying to start your fire and even then sometimes they stay pitch black and you just have this low quality mask+effects=flame in the middle of your screen. I absolutely love their other 'game' Viridi and was really excited for Fire Place, but it deffinately needs some more polish before I could reccomend it.. could use more updates. I want to let you all know I'm almost done with the update v1.2, sorry for taking long, the last couple weeks have been rough.The only thing remaining to pack and upload that update are the maps names for the survival mode, I've always sucked at naming things lol.Well, I have an announcement too, in v1.5 I might release the last update for survival mode, after that I'll just be adding new SCPs into the enemy waves but that would be it.A recent review brought to my attention something that truly made me open my eyes to the reality, the game as it is right now is NOT in any way SCP...The survival mode is something I released because it was part of the game way back when I started this project and it was a good way for you to kill some time while I polish and release the actual levels for the campaign. However, a lot of those who have visited this page have been disappointed because that's not what they are expecting for this game, so once I release v1.5 I'm gonna get all my attention to the actual levels.I did not like the fact that that review called my project a "scummy money grabbing project that took no effort to make" so I'll leave the Survival Mode aside and focus on what truly matters: The Story.
